Together, we can build a future-proof Wormerveer

On March 31, Visit Zaanbocnt gave a presentation to business owners in Wormerveer as part of
a collaboration with the Wormerveer Business Association.

We look back with satisfaction on a well-attended event organized by Visit Zaanbocht, where 28 entrepreneurs from the retail and hospitality sectors gathered for an inspiring and informative presentation by Leon Hamming and Joost Kuipers. The focus was on the important role that these entrepreneurs play in the continued development of Wormerveer. With the growing population and increasing tourism, there are plenty of opportunities to benefit economically. By specifically targeting the right audiences, we can work together to build Wormerveer’s position as the Zaan Region’s fourth major hotspot. Visit Zaanbocht is committed to collaboration between entrepreneurs, residents, and the municipality in the area development supported by the municipal executive. Tourism plays a valuable and unifying role in this.

The message is clear: only by working together can we create an attractive, vibrant, and future-proof downtown.
