Photo Gallery
The peat meadow park, christened “De Trickel,” was purchased from the municipality of Wormerland for one guilder. The park was subsequently transferred to Natuurmonumenten to ensure its long-term management and operation. The park was intended to become a miniature replica of the Wormer and Jisperveld, featuring small islands and various patches of grassland and reed beds. A nature reserve where various species of meadow birds would feel at home and where the flora would also be abundantly present.
