The *Rondje Zaanbocht*, part of **Visit Zaanbocht*, takes visitors along the historic banks of the Zaan, where culture, nature, and industrial heritage come together in a unique way.

Along the way, you’ll experience the rich history of the Zaan region. Characteristic factory buildings have been given a new lease on life and, together with the charming Zaanbocht, form an inspiring blend of past and present. Along the route, you’ll find surprising specialty shops, cozy restaurants and bars, and unique stores that make a visit to the Zaanbocht complete.

What makes this route especially unique is the abundance of greenery along the banks. The water, trees, plants, and resting spots create a sense of tranquility and give visitors the opportunity to fully enjoy the distinctive landscape of the Zaan. The redesigned Zaanweg Oost, with its focus on greenery and an attractive public space, makes the Zaanbocht even more welcoming for both residents and tourists.

Visit Zaanbocht views green spaces as an indispensable part of the visitor experience. That is why it is committed to the ongoing maintenance of the green riverbanks and is working to further green the route. As part of the Quick Wins initiative, the goal is to add additional green spaces along the banks of the Zaan and Marktstraat by April 2027, in collaboration with the municipality and event organizers.
